About Our Medical Director
Dr. Leonard Gyebi
Leonard Gyebi, MD is the Medical Director of Peachtree Kidney Dialysis and Spa Services of Atlanta. He’s been involved in Atlanta nephrology for years through his other practice, Peachtree Kidney and Hypertension Specialists. He has experience in academic medicine as a professor of Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Gyebi felt inspired to create a dialysis and spa center that was warm and welcoming after visiting countless dialysis centers that felt just the opposite.
So many of the centers he saw were poorly kept, disorganized, discouraging, and not conducive to satisfactory patient care. His belief that every person deserves a pleasant and professional dialysis experience is the bedrock on which Peachtree Kidney Dialysis and Spa Services is built.
Dr. Gyebi is also the founder of Sankofa Medical Charities, a charitable organization dedicated to helping provide underserved communities with medical education, care, and equipment.
